Inspiration and vision

I have a number of beliefs that underpin everything that I do and are fundamental to the way that I work. Everyone should be clear and know the values that drive them, as only when we know this can we know how to inspire:

• Life is not fair

• The universe will provide everything to me that I need at the the time that it is needed

• The only thing about which we can be certain is things are uncertain

• To grow, there has to be change and change can be painful

• This too will pass, everything has a start and an end

• The past is over, finished and cannot hurt me any more

• There is absolutely nothing wrong in doing what you enjoy and about which you are passionate

• It's OK to be sad from time to time

• All emotions are valid and should be accepted without judgment

• Past results are not indicative of future action or performance

• Life is meant to be fun and funny
